Rosé Makes History
For the week ending January 25, "R" held strong at No. 17 on Billboard’s Top 200 Albums chart, which ranks the most popular albums in the U.S. This marks the album’s sixth consecutive week on the chart, surpassing TWICE’s Nayeon’s "IM NAYEON" to become the longest-charting album by a female K-pop soloist in Billboard 200 history.
Additionally, "R" achieved its fifth non-consecutive week in the top 20, setting a new record for the most weeks in the top 20 by any K-pop solo album. The previous record was held by BTS’s Jungkook with "GOLDEN."
Beyond the Billboard 200, "R" remained steady at No. 9 on Billboard’s Top Current Album Sales chart and No. 11 on the Top Album Sales chart in its sixth week on both.
Rosé also maintained her position at No. 25 on Billboard’s Artist 100, marking her 14th week on the chart as a solo artist.
